He looked over his shoulder for what felt like the 100th time, as he waited for her to arrive. He was obviously nervous as he had never felt this way about anyone. He had been with many in the past, but She was the one. The one who had made him want to settle down in life, start a family with her, grow old with, share every laugh and tear till his last breath. Everyone around him who had met her, had seen what effect she had on him, and they saw a drastic good change in him. Today, as he looked over for the 101st time over his shoulder, and saw her approaching the table, he knew that within the next few moments, She would be his forever… __________________________________________________________________ She had worn that promise ring for what seemed like a decade, she always thought she would die wearing it. She had only seen fairy tale endings in movies, books, music, television-shows, and her friend’s lives. Up until that moment, she had thought she would never find her perfect happy ending, but as she took it off and passed it onto her niece, she realised this was better than any cliche fairy tale. She was passing her legacy on to a beautiful young girl who had been her daughter in all senses, yet she was called her niece. She had explained to her beautiful niece that when she would turn 16, she would pass onto her the ring. The ring that would bring all the love and happiness that She deserved… ___________________________________________________________________ He had promised that when She left him to sing with the angles in the heavens he would find happiness. He would find love again, and would settle down. Al though at the time when He had promised Her, he just wanted to see her happy. He knew that her soul would not rest in peace until he had married and found happiness. It was not easy letting go of her, but She was adamant, began refusing medication and treatment towards the last few months. She sat by the buffet table sipping a glass of orange juice. She could not help but think about how marital bliss suited the newly wed couple. She then came to a very random thought; this was her 37th wedding where she was one of the supportive brides-maids. She wondered when He would finally come into her life. She often wondered how and when He would enter her life, but She never spoke of this to anyone.... ____________________________________________________ He sat on the best man seat as He awaited his turn to speak. He had always thought that He would be first to get hitched. He thought He would find Her and they would finally find their happily ever after. As He was called to give the most important speech of his life, he was obviously nervous but at the same time he was over the moon for his best-buddy. He looked up into the crowd, and as he began to speak, he noticed Her at the door. She looked so flustered, lost, beautiful and gorgeous. And in that moment, He knew She was the one He was looking for...... _________________________________________________________________ She never thought that this moment would come true. She had been waiting for him all her life. As He slipped the beautiful diamond ring onto her finger, she could not help but her tears of joy. She was lost in the moment, that she did not hear the reverend say that it was her turn to say her vows. As she began to put the ring onto his finger, she looked into his eyes, all she saw undying eternal love for her. She almost choked on to her tears and she said her vows. And with that She became his for all of eternity, and she knew that the commitment she had just made would be one that she would keep even after her last breath..... ________________________________________________________________ Please Note: Images that maybe used on this blog are taken usually off Google and are only used for illustrations purpose only...
