Dedicated to the lovely Ranjhana, you will forever part of our family mausi! She entered the society area recollecting all of her childhood that She had spent playing here. She stopped at the tree where She and her other friends would sit and plan their lives. She rang the doorbell to her granny’s home and aunty opened the door. She knew aunty from a very young age. She hugged her and saw that nothing had changed. She saw him sitting on the floor in her granny’s feet chatting away and their eyes met. He still had that same simple stunning smile. He joked with her granny about how long it takes for the moon to come out of hiding and She laughed and hit him softly. After dinner, they stood at the balcony where once He had said He loved her with all his heart and She turned to him and kissed him softly…. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He enjoyed listening to aunty’s stories, always wondered when He would meet her. He finally got the chance when He visited his family friend’s place in the village side. Aunty greeted him with tea, snacks and sweets. He sat on the floor by her feet and listened to her stories, aunty kept saying come sit by her side. Finally, He agreed when aunty agreed to patting him to sleep. She found him sleeping on her bed the next morning after She returned from her night shift. She shook him awake and with anger in her tone asked who He was. He was stuttering at her beautiful face, aunty came and explained who He was. Their friendship grew stronger from that day forward, and as She sat across the table with a smile, He knew She was the one. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ She and aunty had always shared a special bond, She often wished to buy her a lovely sari as a gift. She finally got the opportunity when She turned 21. She got an internship at a vegan bakery store where She met him. They discussed aunty over a cup of coffee when He mentioned his father’s sari factory. She asked if She could buy a sari from the factory, He agreed. They agreed and after an hour of searching She found the perfect one. She asked if they could go together and present it to her together. She invited him over when aunty came home and they both handed her the sari who flashed such a big smile and blessed them a very long and happy life together… ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
