She had been working in the office for a few months now. She had still not yet fit in, but She kept trying. She had met him and instantly became his friend. They would often bump into each other at the printer to use the office stapler. Before She realized it, She had fallen in love with him. She did not know how to express her feelings. He had always enjoyed her company, and often wondered how lucky her boyfriend must be to have such an amazing girlfriend. He assumed that She had a boyfriend, because how could She not, She was beautiful, smart, hardworking, funny. He later found out from one of his office colleagues that She in fact was single. He almost did a dance when He heard. He decided to confess his feelings on her birthday. He left her gift on her office desk and watched from a distance as She opened it up and let out a laugh at how quirky his gift was… _________________________________________________________________ He had been working in the stationary store part time; his dad had said it would give him some experience in the real world. He liked the job, as He helped customers, and go discounts while working at the store. He sometimes managed the store by himself, which was a bit challenging but it was an educating experience. He would often drift off through the store as it also had a library section. His boss did not mind if He read on the job if it was slow day of business. He was in charge of the store one day, and He sat down with a good book to read. Slowly, He heard the front door chime and She walked in. She was pretty, with long black hair and an adorable smile. She asked him if He could help her buying an office stapler. She was an intern at a local magazine, and since She just joined a few days back they had running errands. He helped her pick out the right one. As She was about to leave She said smiling, “Thank you very much for helping me. I can count on you to help me again right?” _________________________________________________________________ She was often referred by her loved ones and friends as a “clumsy clown,” always getting cuts and bruises. As usual one day, She was using the office stapler for bundles of pages, when She got hurt pretty bad. She was rushed to the ER where She met him. He was an ER doctor, who was popularly known among the nurses as, “Dr. Dependable”. He rushed and treated her immediately, and as He took out the stapler He watched as She shut her eyes. He said with a cheeky smile, “I hope you know this is going to leave a scar”. That was over 10 years ago, She thought as She slowly touched her scar. He had shortly after treating her told her that if She really wanted to thank him, She would have to let him take her out for lunch. They began dating and eventually He proposed and She said yes. He startled her while She was sitting at the front yard with a kiss on her scar and said, “ I told you it would scar, and you know I really like it, it came and it brought you to me”… _________________________________________________________________ Please note I would like to apologise for the delay in posting this, I promise to try to post on a fixed day henceforth...
